MIRC’s Dr. Zhou Xing receives the prestigious Bernhard Cinadar Award at the Canadian Society for Immunology’s 35th annual Spring meeting

The Canadian Society for Immunology’s 35th Annual Spring Meeting in Orford, Quebec was well-attended by MIRC trainees and staff.

Highlighting the event was Dr. Zhou Xing, who received the prestigious Bernhard Cinadar Award, which awards an exceptional immunologist researcher in Canada. Dr. Zhou Xing closed the event with his heartfelt speech titled “Respiratory Mucosal Immunity: A Trek Through Research and Self-Discovery”.

We would also like to acknowledge our outstanding trainees that won poster awards at this year’s CSI Spring Meeting. Congratulations to Kate Miyasaki, who won 1st place in the MSc category, Emily Feng, who won 2nd place in the PhD category, and Ana Portillo, who won the ICB/ASI poster award!
